Chinese mojibakes in timestamps

0
Hi there, I’m a git newbee. I’ve  recently downloaded and installed GitStack and everything went quite well but for the timestamps. Generally, on my localhost page, say, “http://localhost:8080/web/index.php?p=foo.git&a=summary&l=en_US”, there will be a “last change” timestamp. The stamp reads, for instance, “Tue, 05 Mar 2013 16:29:08 xxxxxx”, where the “x”s stand for a Chinese phrase encoded with “GBK” or “cp936″. But the whole page, except for the “x”s, is set up in UTF8. Thus, the “x”s look wired, i.e.,  they turned out to be mojibakes.   I don’t whatever I can’t do and look forward for your help. Thank you very much ahead of time.   Rome.
