LDAP users can’t authenticate against gitstack

Hi,   I have LDAP (AD) syncronizing to gitstack.  I can see selection of users and add them to repository, but the user cannot login. When I click on the magnifying glass I am prompted for user credentials but none of the LDAP users in the repository will work. All the users in the repository have read/write access.     Thanks

Which version of GitStack are you runnning? This bug has been fixed in the last release of GitStack.

Unfortunately I am using the lastest.  2.2.2   Warning: ldap_search(): Search: Bad search filter in C:\GitStack\gitphp\include\Authentication.class.php on line 275 failure: search in LDAP-tree failed Your GitStack credentials were not entered correcly. Please ask your GitStack administrator to give you a username/password and give you access to this repository. Note : You have to enter the credentials of a user which has at least read access to your repository. Your GitStack administration panel username/password will not work.

Can the user check out the repository?

Sorry .. didn't see the response.   Yes a user can check out the repository.  But browse access is not possible.  Do i even care?  Maybe that is something that I don't need?

Could you post an issue on GitHub with a full test scenario? We would like to reproduce the issue.

Issue 102 seems to be the same problem.   Do you want me to add to that or create a new one?
