connect over ssh to remove password

Thanks for the tool. I was able to configure it and work. Two things I actually want to do other than what tool support. I want to connect two computers over ssh[without password] than over apache. also I want to create repositories where I like, not always under gitstack/repository folder. Could you help me in these two things?

Authentication with an ssh key will not be possible with GitStack because we are using Apache and not ssh to communicate. Ssh key authentication are not supported by Apache. For the repository location, please check Can I change the repositories alone.

Is it possible to establish password less connection over apache? I have a local network, which doesnt have any security threat.. so everytime entering username and pwd is kinda annoying..

Password less connections are implememented in GitStack 1.2. The new version will be released in approximately a week.

would you provide an update to the current version? I wouldnt probably too keen on uninstalling the existing one and installing another

You will be able to upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2. (Uninstalling a version do not erase your repositories configuration and data).
